I am so excited to try gardening this spring! This is my first house with a real yard and I want to grow everything. One to save money but also because it sounds like fun. It also seems to be a relaxing hobby. I rather be gardening than watching tv, which seems to be my hobby of choice right now. I am going to try peas, bush beans, lettuce, spinach, carrots and tomatoes. My fiance would also like me to try watermelons and pumpkins but we will see. I don't want to overwhelm myself at first. How did your first garden go? How much time did you invest to it? I am very excited but also scared because it is something new and I don't want to mess up. I will post my progress as something starts to happen! Have a great weekend!

My Weekend
My weekend wasn't all that eventful. We thought we were going to have the kids and didn't, which is disappointing but we had more time to clean up. I took down all of the Christmas decorations and my fiance took out the tree. I have never seen so many pine needles in my life. I'll still continue to get a real tree because I love the smell of them and the tradition of going to get one. It was a pretty relaxing weekend. We didn't get as much done as we wanted to but we are so go...go...go that we deserved to rest a bit. My fiance promised me that if I clean up the kitchen he will do dishes! I love him! I hate doing dishes! One exciting thing that happened is that we booked our honeymoon today. We are honeymooning for 4 nights in Cancun in a beautiful resort. Not very frugal but we probably won't take many vacations after this. I hope everyone else had a great weekend and has a productive week.

Is It Worth It?
Today as I sit at work, I'm wondering if this working thing is worth it right now. I've always known that I was going to stay at home once I have kids but right now we just have a dog and it is killing me to leave him everyday. He is miserable in his cage and is in it way too often. We should have waited until I got a closer job to get a dog but we didn't and now he is miserable. I know if I leave my job to stay home now or work part time that things will be tough. But they're already tough. I am so exhausted from the commute and not keeping up on the basics. I don't have any energy and I only work a normal shift. Maybe I'm just complaining too much. Me and my fiance have discussed me getting a part time job or even staying home but I am too concerned with our finances. I'm not really sure what to do.
