Change in My Life

Wow! My life has changed so much in the past few weeks! I have had a hard time staying in my frugal ways with being so busy but now I need it more than ever. I am having a really hard time starting up my Mary Kay business! I love it and am having so much fun but I'm having a hard time finding customers! Do you have any ideas on how to network? I have such a hard time talking to people I don't know.

But anyways I need help getting back in the frugal lifestyle! Any tips to get back on the horse would be greatly appreciated! I have been slacking on meal planning, saving things, checking prices, etc. I need some motivation! Blogging again I'm sure will help me. I've been in the business mood for awhile so now I need to get back to the frugal mood. Thanks for listening!

Mary Kay update!

I am a brand new Mary Kay Individual Beauty Consultant! I am so excited! I cannot wait to have my debut party on Saturday. If any of you are in the Ohio or Indiana area please visit my website if you do not have a consultant. I'd really appreciate it! Life has been so crazy with starting Mary Kay! My last day of work is Friday so hopefully after the weekend things will calm down a little bit. That's right, I said it! My last day of a j-o-b is Friday!!!!!! I am going to go full throttle with Mary Kay considering my options! Me and Tim do have the understanding that if I am not bringing home enough to pay my portion of the bills, I will have to find a part-time job until I am bringing home enough money. So we will see! I am so excited because I will be home more with my puppy and my stepson when he stays with us during the summer! I am very nervous starting out so if anyone has any advice or just an opinion I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks for reading!

I Found my Home Business!!!!

I am going to be an Independent Mary Kay Consultant! We had facials on Sunday as a bridal gift to one of my friends and me and a friend fell in love with our consultant. We went to a training on Monday and both signed up! I am sooooo excited! I'll let you all know when I get my website running. I'm not sure if any of you like Mary Kay or not. I am very excited because I just put my two weeks notice in at work (not because of the Mary Kay thing - totally unrelated) and I may be able to focus more attention on my business. I have a wonderful sales director who has asked me to let her teach me how to get what I want. I think she was inspired by my goals and my desire to be a stay at home mom but also let Tim retire eventually. I'm very excited and can't wait to get started. I'll let you all know my progress.

Should I Start an In-Home Daycare

I've been toying around with the idea of starting a home daycare. Back in the day I worked in a daycare and as a nanny. I was going to school for Early Childhood Education. That all changed because I listened to other people tell me that I wouldn't make enough money, blah...blah...blah. I've stopped listening to other people's opinions as much. Especially when they are just being judgmental and not really trying to help me. I love kids and I think that I'm good with them. I hate the idea of working outside the home but things like doing telemarketing does not sound like fun. Tim was against it at first but now he just wants me to be happy. Is it a good idea? Getting a normal out of house job would be easier but even that is very hard right now. I am having such a problem finding a job over here and I'm having a really hard time staying at my old job. I don't like working in an office with all the office politics and I don't like the commute! I don't know, I'll have to think about all of this and make sure that I can really afford it. I also want to make sure that this is the best option for my family. Let me know if any of you have any experience with this or any advice. I would really appreciate it.
